Project Telluride just wrapped up! 

Before, the main level felt really closed off. There were walls everywhere, the kitchen felt tucked away, and so much of the architecture, light, and those stunning views were hidden the moment you walked upstairs.

By opening up the layout and removing multiple walls, we completely transformed how the home feels and functions. Now the vaulted ceilings stand out, the kitchen flows naturally into the dining and living spaces, and every area feels connected and welcoming.

Creating spaces for gathering was such an important part of the design. We wanted it to feel open and comfortable for hosting while still feeling warm, relaxed, and true to the mountain setting.

One of our favorite parts of this project was finding ways to repurpose some of the original cabinetry throughout the home while mixing in new cabinetry, lighting, finishes, and furnishings to give the space a completely updated feel while still keeping character and warmth.

The end result feels bright, calm, and made for slow mornings, mountain views, and evenings spent together after a day in Telluride.

But once we walked through the space together, it was clear there was so much more potential.

What began as a small update turned into a full transformation!

The goal was to take a home that “worked” and turn it into something that actually felt like them, a space they loved!

We updated flooring, painted cabinetry, added built-ins, new lighting, and brought in furniture that completely changed how the space feels.

This has been a full transformation. We’ve opened up walls, added a full bathroom, updated flooring, reworked the kitchen, added a new island and peninsula, brought in new furniture, layered in lighting etc!

This trip was focused on getting furniture installed and seeing everything start to come together!

And it’s finally at that point where it’s all starting to feel real. It’s looking so good and we’re really excited to see it fully finished.

Had to show you a sneak peek of the main space! Can’t wait to share the other rooms!!
