What was particularly cool about this project was how hands-on we were in shaping the creative direction alongside Saucony’s CD, Gus Johnston, from an early stage. The trust was there from the start and we had a clear sense of what the ‘Run As One’ platform could look like - and more importantly, how it needed to feel. At its core, the film celebrates the inherent tension between collective power and deeply individual running experiences. Committing to a one-shot technical approach felt like the most honest way to express that idea.

It’s always special to be trusted by a brand to make a film - let alone a 4.5-minute piece with genuine cinematic integrity. To do that with a brand that has over 120 years of history, whose products we genuinely use and whose ethos we truly believe in, meant a great deal to us.

You asked for more, so here is another look into how we shot the end segment of our Saucony commercial.

This segment was all about speed and timing. This is a good view to really see just how good @chuk.owens camera control is. We were always pushing to use higher focal lengths at higher speeds. Beauitful for us to watch now… a nightmare to get right when when the pressure is on. Big kudos to the main man 💪🏼❤️

Stunt driver up front running the route, @gilesrozier17 in the passenger seat while @_______wij_______ is outside running alongside helping control the pace, @chuk.owens controlling framing and focal length, crane operator alongside, and our AC in the boot pulling focus the whole time.
