Today was another milestone:
the latest pet scan at Northwestern Medicine
to see how the current cancer treatment
is working so far.
It’s the “nuclear medicine” department.
We are optimistic!

Reflections of gratitude. Looking back.

Thankful for the Better Business Bureau of Chicago & Northern Illinois for presenting me with their inaugural “Torch Award ‘Hall of Fame’ Award” for my ongoing support of their efforts to spotlight workplace ethics. For several years I’ve served as host of their annual luncheon, celebrating businesses that promote positivity both with their employees and customers.
Surprising me with the award were my co-workers and dear friends at ABC 7 Chicago: Meteorologist Tracy Butler, Evening Anchor Cheryl Burton, VP for Community Engagement Diana Palomar and Traffic Anchor Roz Varon.
It was a memory which will last a lifetime!
