TARIF is a German writer based in North Rhine-Westphalia who started in the early 2010s. Besides being active on trains and walls of his hometown he soon discovered freight trains as a playing field and made a name for himself on the European cargo scene in the last years as well.

Due to certain circumstances he was forced to switch to an analogue camera in the beginning of 2024 and instantly fell in love with the aesthetics of the outcomes.
