After in August of 2018 Queenzbridge published a zine on monikers on freight trains the publishers are now back with a new publication giving insight in the local freight and moniker scene once again. Within a nine-month time frame more than 220 photos have been taken at the same spot and are now compiled in 617, a cryptic name only insiders might be able to decipher just like the numbers on cargo cars.
This time the moniker content has been expanded by elaborate pieces, atmospheric shots, quick outliners, throw-ups, slogans and tags on a variety of different models. Although giving an overview on many usual suspects from the scene the editors put together well selected contents you usually will not find on social media platforms. The unique layout of the 60-paged publication and the featured writers surprise and entertain on every new spread.
The lovely produced DIY zine is finished off with a by hand attached orange tape referring to a certain train model and its eye-catching paint job. 617 is limited to 100 copies only and we are happy to exclusively offer you the remaining copies in our shop!
Featuring ABOY, BANAL, BARTO, BUDE, BUMBAK, COOLIO, DHE, EAZ, FIRE, FLASH, FOEN, FR8D, FREI, GATX, GLAS, GURKY73, GYZOS, HEFZER, HIPPIE, HOFF, HOTBOY, IDOL, IHNED, ILOVEYOU, IPNO, IRGH, IVAN, JBCB, K100, KDYM, KIZAS, KLAZZ, KOSMO, KROKO, KUNST, LASSE, LESS, LOPTA, LYPS, MAGMA, MANE, MING, NAOST, NIHIL, NOTZER, OBSCUR, OMCE, PAOO, PEREZ, PIANO, QTE, RALLY, RUDE RAILROAD, SAME SUN, STREUNERBOY91, STYLO, TAKI68, TARIF, TEARS73, TECHR, TO GO, UZI, VELVED, YF, ZAY, ZKAP, ZOKNE73, and many more.

FREIGHT FACES
Now available at www.hitzerot.com
As soon as graffiti pieces were developed on trains characters have been used to upgrade the painted letters. This tradition is still common in the world of graffiti to this day. FREIGHT FACES is a 100-paged zine which solely features figures executed on European Transwaggon freight cars. Due to the fact that writers usually have more time and less chances to get caught when painting these trains, they appear more often than on commuter trains or subways.
Since freight trains commonly do not stop at passenger stops the painted characters are only visible for short amount of time when cargo cars move by. Photographer Max Eisenhardt anyway managed to collect FREIGHT FACES close-up shots at one and the same spot over a ten year span while Sascha Blasche selected and compiled the content. Some characters look brand new while others are worn down and bear scars of the industrial landscapes they travelled for years across the continent. The publication preludes a comprehensive European freight encyclopedia on the years 2013-2023 which is in the making.
The hand numbered zine is limited to 100 copies only and features 98 works from APES, BARTO, BRO, CARS, COKG, DBF, DEBIL, DEKSL, DSK, EKSTRA, ELZE, FELTO, FLYING FÖRTRESS, FORCE, FUME, FUTSCH, FYANE, GLORY DOG, HIPPIE, HSM, IFC, ILOVEYOU, INO, KAISE, LIGISD, LIMP.H, MAGIK, MOFO, NAM, NASE, NOFUN, NOGOD, NOR, OBCS, OTIS, PINK, RALLYE, REMOT, RIDIM, SHEM, SHIV, SIRUP, T-BONE, TEA, YF, ZAY, and many others.

EINE STADT WIRD BUNT. – FLASHBACK
Die Chronik 2016–2026
Now available at www.hitzerot.com
Ten years ago in May 2016 four befriended Hamburg graffiti and hip hop activists met to start a project which would not only bring the best book on a city’s graffiti origins to life but also created an unexpected positive aftermath. FLASHBACK – Die Chronik 2016–2026 tells the interesting story of the 560-paged tome EINE STADT WIRD BUNT. and how it celebrated the local scene in various following events.
In three main chapters FLASHBACK meticulously retraces the main idea from a successful crowdfounding campaign (that allowed 200 extra pages), following exhibitions, the creation of an app to the hosting of the TAG Conference and the UNLOCK Book Fair in 2023, a podcast series and the final Jam in December 2025.
The impact the book and the outstanding two year exhibition at the Museum for Hamburg History had, is told on 320 pages with over 650 photos including yet unpublished 1980s gems in a once again brilliant quality. Interviews with the publishers and supporters give insight into the realization process as well as the importance only a print publication can have when executed properly by experts in the field. QR codes allow to relive several talks and discussions which were held during the exhibit.

TARIF – Das Game ist kein Spiel
Now available at www.hitzerot.com
TARIF is a German writer based in North Rhine-Westphalia who started in the early 2010s. Besides being active on trains and walls of his hometown he soon discovered freight trains as a playing field and made a name for himself on the European cargo scene in the last years as well.
In Das Game ist kein Spiel (the game is not just a game) for the first time ever he published a print publication of his work. Due to certain circumstances he was forced to switch to an analogue camera in the beginning of 2024 and instantly fell in love with the aesthetics of the outcomes. During the next months he kept the camera and captured tunnel and train line pieces, tags, freights, throw-ups, or common trains in the analogue way.
The refreshing designed softcover book focuses this time period until 2025 and also features action photos and atmospheric shots from Germany, Belgium and France on 124 pages. With an approximate half trains and half walls the publication gives a good insight into his activities over the past two years. Each of the limited to 100 copies books is hand numbered and signed by TARIF who also added a little introduction.
