"ملك المكاك"
في تلال جينجي بولاية تاميل نادو الهندية، يقف قرد المكاك ذو القلنسوة على حافة جبل، غارقاً في ضوء الغروب الذهبي. بعد يوم طويل من انتظار المصور بصبر، تجلَّت لحظة مثالية ساحرة. تعكس لقطة القرد المثالية أناقةً بريةً في مواجهة المناظر الطبيعية الوعرة، مؤطرةً بفن الطبيعة الساحر.

'King of the Macaque'
In Gingee Hills, located in India's Tamil Nadu, a Bonnet Macaque perches on a mountain’s edge, bathed in golden sunset light. سماء الإمارات .. كما يراها يوسف بن أحمد

نشأته بعيداً عن أضواء المدن ساهمت في تعلّقه بالسماء ومراقبة النجوم بشكل مستمر، كان مفتوناً بدوران النجوم حول النجم القطبي، ولطالما تخيّل تحويل هذا المشهد من ظاهرةٍ يصعب ملاحظتها بالعين المُجرّدة، إلى صورةٍ تُجسّد حركة الزمن والكون في لقطةٍ واحدة. إنه المصور الإماراتي يوسف بن أحمد الذي قال في حواره مع موقع CNN بالعربية أنه استوحى فكرة تصوير مسارات النجوم في صحراء الإمارات بسبب شغفه بتوثيق حركة السماء بشكلٍ بصريّ يستطيع أي شخص فهمه.

تتمثّل أبرز أعمال المصور الإماراتي لمسارات النجوم في مواقع متنوعة داخل دولة الإمارات، مثل مليحة، والفقع، وواحة مخفية بين كثبان الشويب في مدينة العين، إضافة إلى جزيرة صير بونعير حيث التشكيلات الصخرية الفريدة. يسعى يوسف في صوره لسماء الليل إلى دمج المعرفة العلمية مع الفنون البصرية. التحديات بالنسبة له تتمثّل في التلوث الضوئي، إذ هناك مناطق محدودة للغاية تتيح رؤية سماء الليل بوضوح، إضافة إلى الرطوبة العالية وظروف الطقس المتقلبة، والحاجة إلى التصوير لساعاتٍ طويلة بثباتٍ ودقة للحصول على النتيجة المطلوبة. يعتقد يوسف أن نجاحه مدينٌ لكثرة التجارب والاستمرارية والتغذية البصرية والعلمية المستمرة، إضافة إلى مرافقة مصورين من ذوي الخبرة وتبادل المعرفة معهم.

يقول يوسف في معرض تعليقه على صوره المنتشرة بكثرة على وسائل التواصل: غالباً ما يعتقد الجمهور أن هذه الصور مجرّد تأثيرات أو معالجات رقمية، لكن عند شرح الفكرة العلمية خلفها تتحوّل ردة الفعل باتجاهٍ إيجابيّ. تعتمد طريقة التصوير على ترك الكاميرا تعمل طوال الليل لالتقاط صورٍ متتالية بنظام الفاصل الزمني (Time-lapse)، ثم تُجمع هذه الصور في إطارٍ واحد لتُظهِر الحركة الظاهرية للنجوم.

"صراع بين الحياة والموت"
سحليةً من نوع الورل تُمسك بفكّي تمساح على ضفة نهر. تظهر قوة المفترس وأسنانه بوضوح، بينما تُقاوم السحلية بأطرافها الممدودة. مثل هذه المواجهات نادرة الحدوث، لكنها تقع في المناطق التي تتداخل فيها الأراضي ومصادر الغذاء. تُوثّق الصورة لحظةً وجيزةً وحاسمةً من الافتراس، مُجسّدةً متطلبات البقاء والتوازن بين الأنواع في بيئةٍ مشتركة.

'Life Against Life'
A crocodile grips a monitor lizard in its jaws beside a river. The predator’s strength and teeth are clearly visible, while the lizard struggles with limbs outstretched. Such encounters are rare but occur where territories and food sources overlap. The image records a brief and intense moment of predation, reflecting the demands of survival and the balance between species in a shared environment.

"بركان تاغوغايت"
يقع بركان تاغوغايت في بلدية إل باسو على جزيرة لا بالما الإسبانية، وهو أحدثُ البراكين الأرضية نشأةً في جزر الكناري، بعد أن وُلِد من رَحِم ثورانٍ بركانيٍّ امتدَّ من 19 سبتمبر حتى 13 ديسمبر عام 2021. خمسةٌ وثمانونَ يوماً ظلَّت الأرضُ فيها تتنفَّسُ حِمَماً، قذفت خلالها مئتي مليون مترٍ مكعّبٍ من الصخرِ المنصهر والحِمَم البركانية، فابتلعَ نحو 2,988 مبنًى ودمّر73.8كيلومتراً من الطرق، وقُطّعت أوصالَ المناطق الغربية عن بقية الجزيرة. أُجلِيَ قرابة سبعة آلاف من السكان داخل نطاقٍ أمنيٍّ محيطٍ بالمنطقة المنكوبة، وقد بدأ نحو ألف شخصٍ منهم في يناير 2022 بالعودة إلى ديارهم، ينبشون الرمادَ بأيديهم في محاولةٍ لانتشال ما تبقّى من ملامح الحياة، وإنقاذ ما يمكن إنقاذه من بين الأنقاض.

'Tajogaite'
Located in the municipality of El Paso on the Spanish island of La Palma, Tajogaite is the youngest terrestrial volcano in the Canary Islands, following its birth from the eruption that took place from September 19, 2021, to December 13 of that same year. The 85 days of eruption resulted in 200 million cubic metres of lava burying 2,988 buildings and 73.8km of roads, cutting off all land routes in the west of the island. Of the approximately 7,000 local people who were evacuated within a security perimeter, about 1,000 began returning in January 2022 to salvage whatever they can from their homes.

"نهر الحب الفيّاض"
بعد صعودٍ شاقٍّ في دروبِ الجبال، وقفتِ الأمُّ تلتقطُ أنفاسَ الراحة، وقد التصقَ العَرقُ بثيابِها المتعبة. تتوقّفُ عند مشرَبِ ماءٍ صغير، فيمدُّ طفلُها — المتكئُ خلفَها في سلّةٍ من خيزران — يدهُ الصغيرةَ إلى صنبورٍ باردٍ كالثلج، ويكفكفُ الماءَ براحَتَيه ليُقدّمه لأمِّه لتروي ظمأها. وحينَ انحنت لتشرب، لم يكن ما تذوقُه ماءً رُواءً فحسب، بل في كلِّ قطرةٍ برودة حبٍّ صافٍ، من طفلٍ يهبُ أمَّه ما استطاعَ من عاطفةٍ وحنان. كانت كلُّ رشفةٍ تمتزجُ بنبعٍ من أنقى أشكالِ الحُبِّ وأصدقِها، نبعٍ لا يجري إلّا بين قلبِ والدٍ وولد.

'Flowing of Love'
Exhausted from a mountain climb, a mother's sweat-drenched clothes clung to her back as she pauses at a water station for some nourishment. Her child, carried in a bamboo basket on her back, turns a frost-cold valve, cupping water for her to drink. As she bends to drink, the coolness carried more than refreshment - it held the weight of a child's devotion, every drop infused with the purest form of love that only exists between parent and child.

"المُراقِب"
تخرج بومة من تجويف شجرة، تُراقب عينها الصفراء الثاقبة محيطها بحزم ودقة. لطالما كان البوم، بصفته بارع في التمويه والتخفي، ذو قوة هادئة لكنها مهيبة في البرية. يندمج مع بيئته لضمان الأمن والاستقرار، وليكون كل ما في الغابة تحت مراقبته الدائمة.

'The Watcher'
An owl emerges from a tree hollow, its piercing yellow eye watching its surroundings with authority. As masters of camouflage and stealth, owls have long been quiet yet commanding forces of the wild. They blend in with their ancient surroundings to ensure they remain safe and that all within the forest is observed by their watchful presence.
