Feeling better today , God is truly Good and omnipresent all things considered. With the passing of the homie and group member P.E.A.C.E suddenly come to the realization about one’s own mortality that often occurs when ppl, friends or are peers transition. My only concern is that we as artists should try and take better care of one’s self and each other! Definitely hard out here but if the artist lifestyle isn’t panning out at this point for you ? Get a job! A good paying one that supports you and your family. Dental , health care , 401 k etc. I personally been working 24/8 consistently since (2019) Covid..andof course being Self Jupiter from the infamous Freestyle Fellowship promoters not booking me for what I’m needing to perform. At 55 years of age it’s understandable. They usually go by sales. Period! If you’re an artist that isn’t selling tons of vinyl and merchandise you’re basically not in demand. When you’re looking at Spotify/ Apple dsp digital platform monthly streaming numbers? that’s completely misleading. Definitely doesn’t translate into dollars in your pocket. Well at least substantial revenue. Waiting and trusting things like that has never promised me anything. Don’t get me wrong , I love a good dream.lol just isn’t realistic. I just think of all the money I’ve received through the years from the music industry. I think of Red Fox , Sammy Davis Jr. ect.. All those checks I’ve cashed that were reported to the IRS ? Guess what? Government still keeping tabs. Don’t wanna talk ya’ll into a corner. lol
Just to give friends and fans a glimpse into my life. I got love for arts always and forever which is why I’m on tons of new records highlighting my magnificent brilliant speak-easy. If you don’t believe me? Google or Chat GBT me . Sorry for diatribe just wanted to chop it up a lil. Stay prayed up focused and blessed. 🫡🫡🫡❤️🙏🏾
