I love to fly. I can’t get enough of that feeling. My biggest ideas come from usually 35,000 feet above the earth.

This year I’ve written down 5 writing goals because it’s the closest I can get to the feeling of flying. The feeling of trying to get the words out of my head onto paper as fast as I can. I came across this Spielberg clip and realized, I’m not the only one that is obsessed with THE PROCESS. Who knows if anyone will read or watch what I produce, but I do hope they’re inspired to keep creating.

Here is a little look into what it takes to direct and work with actors, actresses and connecting that to the filmmaking process. I love rehearsaling scenes with my phone and then watch the DP @zach_trinca turn it up into my vision. It’s all about letting each artist contribute and bring their game. Then you add the music and it takes it to another level. @andrewscottbell

Here it is…The Hanover Incident, a short film I directed and the concept for a TV series my friends and I are currently writing.

The film has seen success on the festival circuit, including a win for Best Cinematography and the incredible experience of being part of various film festivals.

While you can watch it on your phone, I urge you to experience it properly on YouTube. Find a dark room and turn up that volume! The soundtrack, which features a live Budapest orchestra, is a huge part of the film. It’s a testament to the hundreds of people who contributed to this project—a humbling collaboration I’m eternally grateful for. It was a true labor of love, friendship, and professional growth.
