Creating a mix is always a wild ride for me. You never know where the sound will take you. It’s like painting: I just pick the colors that help me let out everything I’m feeling and quiet the noise in my head.

This set became my therapy. That heavy, pulsing bass and those glitchy sounds - that’s exactly what was going on inside my mind. Like walking through a dark hallway, not seeing the end, just trusting my gut and moving forward.

But right at the end, you finally get that moment of pure release. It’s a reminder that there’s always a way out, no matter how tough the journey feels.

I like this season. It emphasizes what I enjoy most in club culture.
Dusty night out and a late sunrise. Basement.

The thing is - it’s all imagined and very hard to capture. It fades away before you make space to enjoy it. I guess it’s worth trying.

This mix was created in the same manner. I dig and dig after an imaginary sound and way too often I never find it. Things get tense and a bit weird, then winter goes by. I am getting compromised.
I realized spring is coming.

I tried to carefully plan what to play during this one-hour set. Instead of packing the set with my favorite tracks I focused on building a slow, but dynamic story that gives the listener the sense of unresolved mystery.

The end of this set brings slower motifs to create a non-obvious ending, using a track from Okravan’s latest album “Si Murg”. I intentionally wanted to give the impression that something isn’t quite right in this story.

You may feel that the set is repetitive and slow, but I wanted the listener to be patient - it’s really worth waiting for the moments of intrigue and mystery. Building slower music narratives is something I’m still learning, especially as a contrast to the fast-paced environment we live in today.
