A few weeks ago we had to say a final goodbye to our little friend Milo. This isn’t a sad post.It’s a celebration of the remarkable relationship and bond between wo(man) and dog which goes back thousands of years.
Milo was first rescued from someone who kept him in a hamster cage.His second home suffered domestic violence and Milo was punished with rehoming when he bit a later boyfriend while he thought he was protecting his mum.That’s when he met Rory and me.It took almost two years before his personality revealed itself fully. This is a dog who has survived not just pancreatitis and gastritis, but a ghastly Adder bite 🐍. He once did a 20 min train ride on his own 😱between Preston Park and Haywards Heath before being rescued by the station staff at the other end.He also fell through thebannisters at home and landed on all four paws at the bottom of the stairs.Unscathed but slightly surprised.All in all he was truly a special dog.Where he leaves a furry void in our lives his memory fills our hearts with a fluffy kind of love.He left us at 17 (ish) having just one tooth but a full head of hair which is more than you can say for most elderly gentleman. Xxx

It’s been a busy couple of weeks.Landed into Sydney to find out the vendors of my forever home had withdrawn from the sale.Decided to go ahead with my sale anyway and got back to move everything into my new place. Storage unit A15.Luckily that fella who is my other half has a spare room and has made space for my extensive wardrobe, shoes and a desk so that’s a place to stay for now.The lovely lodge I lived in has gone into the loving hands of friends who I know will treasure it.Now to find somewhere to live 🏠 for me xx
