We are so very proud of our fearless leader/top dog/big cheese, Jonathan Sagi for being inducted into The CSLA College of Fellows. In true Jon fashion, he didn't want to make this about him, so here is a message on his behalf.
"Congrats to this exemplary group of LAs! I know some of you well, I have friendly competition with some of you :) and I'm excited to meet the rest of you at our CSLA Congress in June. We've had different paths, but what I know for sure is that everyone in this cohort stands for advancing conversations about design and the role Landscape Architecture plays in building, shaping and healing our environments. I'm honoured to join our mentors in the College who have helped us get to where we are in our careers. I feel a renewed responsibility to keep pushing our profession and the next generation forward"
Congrats to you all! 🎉

In 2025 our team submitted a proposal for the @domainedechaumontsurloire International Garden Festival in France. We were beyond thrilled to learn we were the selected team for the 2026 Festival, themed "le Jardin fait son cinema"
Our team not only designed the installation, but we were also lucky enough to send a crew of groundcubers to France to construct the entire installation.
Investigating the intersection between gardens and cinema, our design recalls a film set with a backstage area and a soundstage area, framed by a large circular wooden structure creating an interior and exterior space. The "backstage"/exterior area was planted and designed to feel like a film lot, with low plants, subdued colours, and the use of pallets as furniture and framing. The "film set"/interior of the garden features a raised planter backed by mirrors with a narrative garden that tells a story through planting and the use of miniatures, utilizing traditional film making techniques like perspective, illusion, and set design to create an immersive space that invites the viewer to act as the director of their own film.
Here are just a few images of the construction/installation process and the finished work:
