The Screen Door, established in Greenpoint in 2019, is run by local mom, entrepreneur and art-supporter Kate Covey. They are known for their classic sundaes, decadent flurries and smooth soft serve.

Charlie the Dog is a Brooklyn-based indie/emo/folk project led by singer-songwriter Dev Wojtanek. The band draws inspiration from the wistful melodies of bands like Death Cab for Cutie and the intricate vulnerability of Midwest emo bands like American Football. @charliethedogsongs

Wheel & Frame is an indie rock project formed by Steve Conzo in 2015. Their first LP, Selachimorpha, was released in 2016 and Thylacine, their second LP, followed in 2018. For Fans Of: Bon Iver, American Football, and Grouper. @stevconz

Promotional materials will be available at the event for artist pickup. This includes GOS tote bags (free for each participating GOS artist), green balloons for your building, printed posters and postcards.

Eric Medsker is a photographer and director specializing in bold, immersive storytelling for the food and beverage world.

I'm excited to present this year's photography created for Greenpoint Open studios in collaboration with NYC's preeminent prop stylists Andrea Greco, Elvis Maynard, Maeve Sheridan, Maya Rossi, and Paola Andrea.

These images present striking, self-contained worlds—spaces the viewer can step into—where richness of color and material meets a deliberate, intentional approach to composition and construction.

Ida Marx is a painter and 3D artist. She is excited about being part of the Greenpoint Open Studios because her recent work reflects the landscapes of Greenpoint. Many of the interesting streetscapes of NYC are disappearing and capturing them with paint is a way of preserving them. She hopes to share her work with the community at this event.
