My beautiful sister's wedding ❤️ Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. De Jesus - @graciellelibero and @chuwiwariwariwap! I don't have a photo/video of one of the highlights of the event, our father's speech, because I was busy crying 😂 Nagulat kami that he even wrote his speech on 2 or 3 pieces of bond paper ata haha. He talked about how I'd pull all-nighters all the time because I was writing and often end up sleeping on the couch in our living area, where he'd see me 'pag bumababa siya from the bedroom. When I got married and moved out of my parents' home, ito namang sister kong antukin (masandal, tulog!) ang pumalit sa'kin sa pagtulog sa couch. Now that my sister is married, the couch is empty and our parents are back to where they started: just the two of them 🥺😢 Of course, they're happy for us but some things are really not going to be the same. Days after the wedding, our mom slept over at her sister's place because she was alone (and lonely, for sure) at home, kasi out of town si Papa for work. It won't be easy for them to adjust. But on the brighter side, sabi ko na lang kay Mama, don't worry, soon you'll have another apo 😂 So, pakibilis, Icel and Wiwa haha.

🛏 Staycation at one of our fave budget hotels in the metro: @ibisstylesmanilaaranetacity - booked via @klook_ph. (Not sponsored haha) We really love this hotel - It's affordable, and rooms are clean and well-designed. Plus, it's conveniently located in Cubao, connected to the @gatewaymallph where there are many dining options.

🍽 Lunch at @worldkitchensph - When staycationg in ibis or going to Gateway for a special occasion, it's a must for me to eat at World Kitchens. Well, for one, it's literally beside ibis, so it's so convenient. Then of course, it's perfect for when you're dining as a group and can't decide on the restaurant; if you're in the mood for Filipino, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, or Indian, World Kitchens has options for you.

🕹Bonding time at @ilovetimezone - We love arcades! It's always on our agenda whenever we're at the mall. This time, we got free credits for the photo booth, so it was nice to have a printed photo from that day.

🚶‍♀️🍕 Mall stroll at Gateway and takeout for dinner - A bit of shopping haha. We wanted to watch a movie but parang walang match for all of us, so next time na lang. Then we ordered food from @tacobellphl and @pizzahut, and ate in the room.

🏊‍♂️ Morning swim at ibis' rooftop pool. Love the view from up there

🍽 We didn't get the breakfast buffet option because we knew there are many restaurants around. After walking around Araneta, we decided to have breakfast at Army Navy.

🍽 Then it so happened that I was invited to check out @azela.ph as it opens its new branch in The Block, SM North EDSA. So, what a nice way to celebrate and bond over good food at #AzelaByBalayDako! Thank you, Azela and @gamechangerph!
