Imagine what our world would be like if every young person could say, “I Travel.”

Since 2008, our award winning programs have served over 9,000 students + teachers and provided $17M to make travel possible for students from 100 high schools and youth organizations across the United States.

Funded by hundreds of individual donors and leading companies like @unitedairlines, @expediagroup, @away, and Snap Inc., every student who attends one of our partner schools is eligible for a need-based scholarship.

Once accepted, our students engage in pre-trip workshops that prepare them to participate in a structured 11-day international experience focused on service-learning, cultural immersion, and leadership development in Panama, Costa Rica, or the Dominican Republic.

The Global Glimpse program is thoughtfully designed to expand perspectives, bridge divides, and unlock leadership potential so teens can differentiate themselves and change the world, one little bit at a time.

We believe that travel is one of the most powerful forms of education. We envision a world where every young person can say “I travel.”

Our first 2026 delegation has taken off and the Global Glimpse summer travel season is officially underway! 🌍✈️

• This delegation brings together 23 students from 13 different public high schools across the San Francisco Bay Area.
• The group departed from SFO on June 4th and they will spend 11 days immersed in Jarabacoa in the central mountains of the Dominican Republic.
• 9 students on this delegation are traveling internationally for the first time!

During their final pre-trip meeting, Global Glimpse alumni at Independence High School helped prepare this year's Glimpsers for their travel experience by sharing the big moments that stood out from their own travels last summer. They also shared insider tips, like what they wished they'd packed more or less of!

Alumni mentorship helps students feel prepared for the intellectual and emotional transformation they experience with Global Glimpse and builds leadership skills every step of the way -before, during, and after the trip.

Our first delegation of students arrive in the country in just a few days and we can't wait for them to experience the power of immersive travel.
