At a loss for words. It was a freak umbilical cord accident (on her ankles!), even though the ultrasound 24 hours before was absolutely perfect. My only request is that if anyone wants to provide comfort, to please refrain from talking about how god and the universe have a way because I’m an atheist and that just sounds empty to me 🙏 We are in shock grieving our daughter, identities and planned future.

Of course it would happen on my birthday! Feeling so sad for everyone in accidentally gonna ignore, and all the sweet messages I didn’t get to read.

I look successful from the outside. I am! I guess. But sometimes the meaninglessness of it all catches up to me.

Rather than obsessing over AI cheating, perhaps we should prioritize teaching relevance and critical thinking. It’s time to protect our future by emphasizing human insight over outdated institutional norms.

When I graduated from college, I applied to 100 jobs and was rejected from all of them.
Philosophy major. Needed a visa. Every silent rejection said the same thing: you’re not enough.
