For our first GRIT workshop, 14 May, we are VERY blessed and VERY excited to have Gerst.

Gerst is a musician and sound artist based in London. Drawing inspiration from harsh noise, musique concrète, and the heavier fringes of bass music, her improvisational and hardware driven live sets weave together raw analog electronics with guitar, field recordings and tape manipulation to create uneasy skittering rhythms and a dense fog of noise.

Gerst will be showing us the ins and outs of her live set up, complete with demonstrations of gear, discussing approaches to performing live / music production and more.

Hello, making a little update post! I have a new recording up on my bandcamp now from a performance I did for @free.music.lessons.leeds back in November, with lovely art by Leo as always.

I'm playing @impulsecontrol__ at Avalon Cafe on the 28th of march, starting at 5:30 so get down early if you want to catch my set!
