GENTEMSTICKライダーであり、私たちの良き友人、そして家族である佐藤慎二が、2026年5月9日に天国へ旅立ちました。
今もなお、自身のラインを滑り続けている慎二へ。
彼の滑り、山に対する真摯な姿勢、そしてあの優しい笑顔は、これからも私たちの心の中で、そしてGENTEMSTICKの歴史の中で永遠に生き続けます。
慎二の世界を見せてくれてありがとう。
佐藤慎二という一人の男の生き様をずっと忘れる事はありません。
これまで彼を想い、パワーを送っていただいた皆様に感謝致します。
私たちの想いと祈りのすべてを、最愛のご家族へ捧げます。
We feel the deep loss of his presence, yet he’s still riding his own line.
On May 9th, 2026, Shinji Sato—a GENTEMSTICK rider, our dear friend, and our family—departed for heaven.
His riding, his sincere devotion to the mountains, and that gentle smile will live on forever within the history of GENTEMSTICK.
Thank you for showing us your world, Shinji.
The world will always remember you for the incredible man you were.

なお、今季は夏季営業を予定しておりません。

冬季営業の再開につきましては、11月中旬を予定しております。

The 2025–26 season has now come to a close.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who visited us throughout the season. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
Please note that we will not be open during the summer season this year. For any inquiries, we will continue to be available by email. Please feel free to contact us at any time.
We are currently planning to reopen for the winter season in mid-November. Once the exact schedule has been confirmed, we will share further details.
We look forward to welcoming you again next winter.

静寂を切り抜けた先に広がるフィールドへ。

いよいよ来週3月26日、 14th Annual BIG WAVE CHALLENGE が幕を開けます!

そして、先日公開された「GENTEMTRIPS Mt. BACHELOR」。
参加したチームライダー藤田一茂 (@forestlogd )、Alex Yoder (@yoderyoder )、北原あゆみ (@ayumi_kitahara ) 五十嵐黎、(@rei.igarashi i ) 星広樹、 (@hiroki_nuts )、玉井天満 (@temmatamai )らは、Mt. BACHELORに現れたビッグウェーブをオリジナリティ全開で滑走し、会場にいるみなさんを魅了していました。
またあの場所で、皆さんと笑顔あふれる時間を共有できることを心待ちにしています。

Next week, on March 26th, the 14th Annual BIG WAVE CHALLENGE finally begins!!
Coming across those moments where unexpected stories are born—it never fails to make our hearts race. We cannot wait to share the new narratives that will be woven on those slopes.
We released our latest film, “GENTEMTRIPS Mt. Bachelor.”
In it, our team riders—Kazushige Fujita (@forestlogd ), Alex Yoder (@yoderyoder ), Ayumi Kitahara (@ayumi_kitahara ), Rei Igarashi (@rei.igarashi ), Hiroki Hoshi (@hiroki_nuts ), and Temma Tamai (@temmatamai )—showcased their pure originality, captivating everyone as they carved through the massive frozen waves of Mt. Bachelor.

【GENTEMTRIPS Mt. BACHELOR】
ジェリーロペス氏 (@gerrylopezsurfboards )から『地元の山、マウントバチェラー (@mtbachelor )で波のような雪の地形を作って大会をやってるんだ、太朗たちも来ないか？』と声をかけていただいた2014年、それから毎年バチェラーを訪れ10年以上が経った。
「日本にニセコと白馬があるように、アメリカにもまた、対をなす山がある。
ジャクソンホールが白馬のような峻厳な山だとするなら、マウントバチェラーはさながらニセコだ。
土地が人を形作るように、バチェラーとニセコはまるで兄弟のような気風を纏っている。
私たちは、まるで遠く離れた家族に会いに行くような心地で、この山へと向かう。」と玉井太朗は想いを寄せる。
玉井太朗とジェリーロペスの関係性があるように、ニセコとマウントバチェラーそして日本とアメリカも深い意味合いで結ばれ引き寄せあっている。
2025年3月にGENTEMSTICKチームと共に訪れたマウントバチェラーへの旅「GENTEMTRIPS Mt.BACHELOR」の本編が公開。

In 2014, Gerry Lopez (@gerrylopezsurfboards ) extended an invitation: “We’re building wave-like snow features here at my home mountain, Mt. Bachelor (@mtbachelor )—why don’t you and your crew come join us?”
More than a decade has passed since that first visit, and our journey to Bachelor has become an annual tradition.
“Just as Japan has Niseko and Hakuba, America has its own counterparts,” reflects Taro Tamai.
“If Jackson Hole is like the rugged peaks of Hakuba, Mt. Bachelor is akin to Niseko. Just as the land shapes the people, Bachelor and Niseko share a brotherly spirit. We head to this mountain with the same warmth as visiting long-lost family.”
The bond between Taro Tamai and Gerry Lopez mirrors the profound connection between Niseko and Mt. Bachelor—a magnetic pull that unites Japan and America on a deeper level.
