What an amazing night in Liverpool at the BBC comedy festival, interviewing the brilliant Diane Morgan and wonderful Sue Johnston about the new show Ann Droid, in which Diane plays Sue’s care robot. It’s a beautiful/funny show and was a pleasure to talk to them about it (while also being a little terrifying- was v fortunate to be on stage with Diane and Sue who make it all look easy). @missdianemorgan

I so loved talking to Jodie Comer for @bazaaruk what an incredible talent and inspiring human she is. And we should all do more gardening in our underwear. Thank you@jodiemcomer for the chat, and @lydiasmag for the commission. Here’s to wise women 🌷

Wes Anderson archive exhibition at the Design Museum really is fantastic. Hebe usually hates being taken to museums (my fault, apparently, for taking her on too many museum jaunts when she was younger) but she loved this, particularly the annotated musical scores and of course the puppets! @designmuseum

My beautiful mum, Jan Hodge, 1947-2025. She was born in Woodford, left school at 14, came to London and met my dad (there’s a pic of him here too). There was much sadness in her life, but she was always joyful, optimistic, buoyed by her faith, her friends and her family. We miss her and will celebrate her life this weekend at St Mary The Boltons, the lovely church where we held my father and my sister’s funerals too. It’s a lot for me to carry, but for some reason it never feels lonely. They are somehow all three with me. Do let me know if you would like to come on Saturday, it will be a Hodge-y celebration
