Altravesur part 4
Properly got into the mountains now and the weather is showing its best side. Rocky mountains, small authentic villages and olive fields took up the views for a few days.
The route sometimes follows the GR7 footpath which goes across Spain. However some parts are less rideable than others and at times I was quite happy with my mtb experience.

Over two days I had almost 6 hours of hiking the bike through deep mud and sometimes completely flooded paths. I had to regularly stop and wash the bike with river or puddle water just to keep the wheels turning in the sticky peanut butter.
Felt so bad for the poor little bike that for sure didnt deserve this as its first real voyage, but what a way to break it in.

This was my first time solo bikepacking which was quite fun to try.
The area of Cadiz and Granada is very interesting to me as I went with my family a few times when I was very little. I wanted to re-experience the area in a new way that I could remember properly.
