We’ve uploaded a 108 hour video (4 days?!) to youtube of every set from every show from usb002. It took us ages to work out how to do this. Im told this is the longest video on YouTube ever? I really just wanted to document the insane experience of getting to play b2b wit this amazing list of ppl. A truly insane list of humans.

To everyone who came to every show, I increasingly learn that you make them what they are more than we do.

Thank you forever and bye for now. Im going to write some music.

So I had a dream last week,

And basically all it was, is I was 80, sat in a like a care home, and I kept saying to the nurses “jus play it again pls”
And I was just sat there watching the usb show with Thomas over and over again 😂😂😂😂
And then I sat there being like ‘look that’s me! I’m there!’

I usually have a rule that I don’t watch anything back, I just do the thing, and then try to stay present and just sorta keep working on writing music, like I’ve still never watched our Glastonbury set. Or most things tbh, but yeah with this, I justtttt. Can’t. Stop.

Probably because a lot of it isn’t my music, so it’s not subject to my usual very critical inner voice about stuff. Instead I’m just a fan more proud of a sort of human moment than anything else.

Now I know in a way it sounds kinda morbid in some ways
Buttt lemme tell you, one thing was very clear when I woke up.
It was not a nightmare, it was definitely a dream.

Eternally grateful ❤️ @thomasbangalter @albertsandgothmaan

I’ve kinda always wanted to hear jme over this beat. I didn’t say to the guys I was gonna play it or anything so when the tune started I turned around to see if he was still there, n he was in the corner of the booth so I just passed him my mic and was like ummm 🤷‍♂️

there was this moment with all of us sort of simultaneously realising as he was about to say it, that the last line of his bars was about to be “the music originated and will always remain in the streets” whilst looking directly at mike. jussttt…………..

Shoutout the guys @overmono on the remix of course too

this weekend we got to play with the absolute pillars of UK music.

it was the merging of so many of the most important parts of UK music it was just an honour to get to stand there and witness it and be one part of it.

after soundcheck tony came up to me and was like
“well that was my favourite soundcheck ever, JME and d double walked off and underworld and mike skinner walked on WHAT EVEN IS THAT”
and yeah i was so busy and stressed about tryna make it all work and fixing mixes i didnt totally clock how mental the SOUNDCHECK was!!! let alone the show….

i said on the night and i will sayyyy it again, that that room, and the way it felt, was standing on the shoulders of the things built by underworld, the streets, jme and so on

thank u infinity to:
underworld, mike skinner, romy, jme, d double e, berwyn, femi, ezra collective, ca7riel & paco, headie one, jamie t, blanco, joy anonymous, mph, nia archives, hamdi, oppidan ❤️

this weekend we got to play with the absolute pillars of UK music.

it was the merging of so many of the most important parts of UK music it was just an honour to get to stand there and witness it and be one part of it.

this is the video for lights burn dimmer which came out today. It is the 3rd part of this series of brandons night out.

i really love the story that the three of these tell together and how differently people interpret the sorta emotional journey of it.

i feel like often, the day after a night out all ur left with is a few snapshots and a couple songs in your memory. these videos feel like that kinda memory collage to me.

the series is all shot in super slow motion. I love seeing a moment which is 10 seconds of realtime stretched out that long. It makes all these emotions that can feel like fleeting memories feel like a lot much more. It’s like being in my brain recounting every single detail of the memory.

bigups brandon and mar for making it so special and jason and simon and everyone else who made it possible.

the level of gratitude i felt being able to do this secret life exhibition day in new york. i was just sat there like wow wow what a privilege to be able to host this for people. and all the humans were HUMANING. magnificently. like there were ppl drawing, dancing, lying, writing, sleeping, healing, speaking, a man in a sleeping bag, and some someone who stayed for the whole 6 hours.

i was lookin around like wow these guys are my PEOPLE.

i really hope we get to do this again one day. it might not be possible. and if it isnt then im just happy this happened.
