CLASS ANNOUNCEMENT:
Arranging flowers from the Garden
June 10
17 Vestry st NYC

Working in my garden is my favorite thing… it’s what I do to disconnect. It’s what I do to connect. It’s where I’m happiest. It’s where I’m most me.

Each week I’ll bring up snippets to the studio to share with the team- they’ll usually stay in the bucket they were brought up in. Maybe the stems will make it to another little vase. Rarely are they used for an event or delivery. We keep them for ourselves. It’s perhaps why I don’t grow flowers for the trade- feels a little easier for me to let them go when they’re not my own.

But the itch to share what and where I spend my time has gotten itchier… So I’m hosting a class with the flowers from my garden, all my treats and treasures.

Will probably ask a friend our two if I can snag a few snips from theirs as well… my phlox will be done by then so I’ll likely call in a favor from farther north.

If all goes well, maybe I’ll do another one like this a little later and give myself a reason to grow a little more.

Space will be very limited… because my garden is limited.

We secretly started another Instagram @foxfodderflowers - it’s a catalogue of sorts. A resource of what’s around and what’s in season and where we’re sourcing it from. Some of the items we’ll have available on our site for delivery. Some we just want to show you.

This is the Estella Rijnveld Parrot Tulip
She is available this week via our site.

Lady Jane. Grown by @treadlightfarm

We’re really digging into the site and how we can offer our customers all (or most) of what we’re loving each week or even each day.

We love to make arrangements but we also love to share the single varieties… the special stems that make us go mad. With joy.

Visit the bunches section on our website to see what we’re loving today.
