We’ve been thinking back to the last time we here at float brought proper order techno to Wigwam.

Bringing SLAM back to Dublin after five long years to provide straight up techno, no frills, a masterclass with true commitment to the origins of the genre, was an experience we won’t forget.

December 13th, we & @hiddenlovedublin , welcome ANNĒ to the Wigwam booth for more of this - ANNĒ’s EP release ‘Moon Lander’ on SLAM’s record label ‘Soma Records’ earlier this year is a staple on our USB’s, and we’re buzzing to continue to champion the old school sounds we all love with this incredibly special Irish debut. ANNĒ’s shown immense dedication to her craft over the last decade, which has resulted in her releasing on acclaimed labels SOMA, Hardgroove and Mutual Rytm. This enabled her to showcase her style and adoration for techno rooted in the golden era accompanied by contemporary technique.

After relocating to Newcastle; one of the UK’s underground music hubs, Ben’s fine-tuned style has garnered global attention. Continued support from heavyweight artists including Mall Grab, Skream, VTSS, & HAAi has kept him firmly in the limelight, with no signs of his upward trajectory slowing down.

His instantly recognisable sound merges gritty, piercing drums with mechanical sounding vocals and percussion to form a raucous blend of techno-induced beats.
