ABOUT @andreapena__:
Andrea Peña is a Colombian-born, Montreal-based multidisciplinary artist renowned for her innovative fusion of choreography, design, and installation art. As the founder and artistic director of @apartists, she has developed a distinctive practice that interrogates the intersections of body, materiality, and identity within performative and spatial contexts. Rooted in her Musica indigenous heritage and drawing from her background in industrial design and in fashion, she creates immersive environments that challenge conventional notions of humanity, often exploring themes of vulnerability, resilience, and transformation.
Peña cultivates a collaborative and research-driven environment where dancers and designers converge to investigate new expressions of body and identity. Her creations dismantle traditional aesthetics, draw on hybridity, and engage with the universal themes of rebirth and resistance—ultimately transforming the stage into a dynamic space of radical imagination.
Her approach has earned her numerous awards for her conceptual creations, most recently the winner of the @chanelofficial Next Prize 2026, the Ballet BC Choreographer Award 2024, the first international choreographic co-production by @labiennale di Venezia 2023, @banffcentre’s Clifford E. Lee Choreography Award 2018 and the Hong Kong International Choreography Award 2018.

ABOUT @bullyache_:
BULLYACHE is an artist duo founded in 2021 by Courtney Deyn and Jacob Samuel. They make “live music videos” for the stage: choreographing, directing, and composing original works that merge music, avant-garde dance theatre, and pop culture spectacle. Think Pina Bausch cosplaying as Dua Lipa—ballroom meets noise, exhaustive dance training meets media theory, all distilled into radical, cutting-edge choreographic performance.
They are recent residents of the @barbicancentre, @studiowaynemcgregor, @brittenpearsarts and have created performances for Abbey Road, Wrap Records and Paris Fashion Week.

TOURING PRODUCTIONS:
WHO HURT YOU? (Photo 1 Dan John Lloyd)
A GOOD MAN IS HARD TO FIND (Photo 2 Andrea Avezzù)
THE FUTURE LASTS FOREVER (Photo 3 William De Val) - new upcoming production

ABOUT @brianbyca:
Brian Ca is a multidisciplinary artist based in Luxembourg, with a diverse body of work spanning choreography, performance, stage design, photography, video and visual arts. His transversal approach to art and his innovative blending of movement, visual aesthetics, and technology, create singular and thought-provoking productions that echoes to all types of audiences.
His research is based around themes of identity construction and the psycho-emotional factors tied to intimate and socio-cultural contexts, aiming to dismantle conformity and promote alterity and inclusivity. He prompts viewers to reflect on their own perceptions and experiences, fostering empathy and understanding.
In January 2024, Brian became Artist in Residence at @trois.cl - Maison pour la Danse de Luxembourg, marking the beginning of a prolific choreographic career with multiple productions premiering the same year. His hybrid works, designed for stage or performative spaces, seek to create multi-sensory experiences that push the boundaries of traditional performance at the intersection of poetry, psychology, and science.
Overall, Brian Ca’s artistic work is characterized by a multifaceted exploration of the human experience where art becomes a powerful tool for transformation — a catalyst for introspection, empathy, and social change. Through his unwavering commitment to authenticity and the celebration of diverse identities, underscored by a commitment to collaboration and social commentary, he composes richer and more inclusive artistic dialogues to create new forms of creation that transcend theater codes and contemporary art expectations. His creative endeavors invite audiences to collectively understand, to challenge preconceived notions and to embrace the profound beauty of human resilience

STAR SPANGLED MANOR is an interdisciplinary dance-theater work structured as a live laboratory for interrogating the colonialist ideology of “The American Dream.” Through dance theater, projection, set design, sound scoring, and bodily prosthetics, the piece navigates aesthetics of surveillance and rave culture to expose how systems of power shape collective consciousness. Framed through a queer lens, the body becomes a charged site of resistance, rupture, and transformation. The work traces the tension between order and chaos, revealing how stabilizing structures often expose their own contradictions. By staging this unraveling, it gestures toward the fragile veneer of national ideals and how quickly they fracture under pressure. Yet the piece does not end in dissolution; as chaos mounts and clarity emerges, it opens portals, moments that invite our participants to reconsider the architectures governing daily life and imagine the possibility of remaking, and collective futures beyond constraint.
