Documentation of my works from IF/THEN curated by Sara Szostak @srszstk and Marta Grytczuk @bbyg.mg at Ujazdowski Center for Contemporary Art @u_jazdowski which runs through to February. Photographed by @jakub.owczarek
Thank you Sara for inviting me to be a part of this incredible show with an insane line up. The curation is so ambitious and it really pays off, I am honored to be a part of it.
And thank you @sarahsitkin the genius without whom I could have never made the hand sculptures. She did the life casts of my hand, made a ton of tests of mixtures of copper and silicon to land on a good mixture, and poured the castings. I am lucky to work with someone as talented, skilled, and kind as you!

Bed PC, 2021, at @scherben.scherben as part of a group show ‘Klammern aus denen Blätter Sprießen’ in collaboration with @hunter_shaw_fine_art

This install of the piece has a number of applications like blender, perforce, discord, and Mozilla browsers open on each of the four monitors— all software that I have open while I use the computer on a regular basis. The two above head monitors are playing two videos, one is an unreal engine scene being constructed and the other is the film We Live In Public cut together with a 24 minute cut of my 24 hour stream.
The show will be up at Scherben until May 1 and an iteration of the show comes to Hunter Shaw Fine Art in June!

I had so much fun doing workshops for the visiting artist program that @yanaminai directs at @pilgrimschoolla
These are examples of student work from both Aryana’s high school classes and @kwonderful 5th grade students from the workshop.
The whole goal of the workshops for both age groups was to make the jump into 3D on the computer less scary. Everyone learned to use camera devices to do photogrammetry, then the 5th graders made islands out of paper clay to scan which I then rendered out of unreal with them, and the high school students made characters out of oil based clay to scan, auto rig, and animate. They rigged them in mixamo, chose an animation, and learned to set up a blender scene for a render. Some students really went in and downloaded random assets from the web, played with settings in the scene, and did fun camera animations.
It’s awesome, I think only a few students had ever opened blender in their life before this 3 hours of workshop. I love how these came out and loved working with grade school students so much😌
Thanks for having me Aryana and Pilgrim!!

Counter-Strike spray pattern drawing 1-18, 2025
Graphite drawing on paper, aluminum frame, mousepad backing

These drawings are of the bullet spray pattern of every gun in Counter-Strike alongside the reciprocal motion path for the players’ mouse needed to negate that bullet spray.

Filip Kostic VS. Filip Kostic is going to be in Fantasy Futbol at High Line Channel from May 6 to July 6 (coinciding with the World Cup coming to New Jersey).

Fantasy Futbol brings together three films by @anahusman @mariannasimnett and Filip Kostic that explore the drama and mythology surrounding the world’s most watched sport: soccer. Through choreography, livestream performance, and reenactment, the video works examine the narrative structures that shape the sport’s public life, from the roles and power dynamics on and off the field to the authority of commentary and broadcast media that frame how matches are seen and remembered.

Thank you @constanzasvalenzuela for including me!

I made a new website. It works on your phone but is better on your computer. I like the idea of putting things in folders on there that I might otherwise just post on Instagram grid or in my stories. things I’m looking at and thinking about, however serious. Like this song @dylanbrady made a long time ago that i still really like, or the sodium chloride meme, or my iPad paintings and computer builds.
I also like the idea of changing things about it like I do my actual desktop.
This was a blast to make!
