This first part of the process in making a kettle sour starts like any other brew, but then the wort is moved into the kettle and a form of live bacteria is added, to slowly sour the beer in the kettle for the weekend, while our brewers will be enjoying their time off!
Alana here is a great fan of working on the Berry Sour and has brought us different iterations, including the Just Peachee (lychee and peach), a Lingonberry and Blueberry Sour and the Rhuby Tuesday (rhubarb and raspberry).

Max first joined Five Points in 2019, coming from Brew By Numbers, and has been the Head Brewer with us since September 2021. In that time, he's brought so much creativity and expertise to the brewery, as well as a love and appreciation of pubs and cask ale (particularly Theakston Old Peculier).
In the words of the farewell beer that you brewed, "tchô bonne" Max! It's been great having you as a part of the team, and we wish you all the best for the future.
