This week we're ending on a beautiful note, by sharing the sound and video performance by artists and friends @feedbackbackback and @noisetre.es at Pethaus @pethaus_ry in Tampere on 18.04.2026.

Noise Trees: "It was an improvised long-form composition combining tape loops and effects in AUM on an iPad, a contact microphone through a resonator and pedals, and a modular voice built around Four Seas. The dialogue between sound and image was in realtime. The sound was sent to the visual rig so that we could have audio-reactivity, and we both reacted to each other’s output in an improvised way."

Feedbackbackback: "I had my special all analog rig and just jammed with it to his music. My set had two CV controlled lights that reacted to music. I had a DV-cam, a CRT monitor, a turntable (1 RPM) to put stuff on, eurorack for modulation and video effects and a V-8 video mixer... At the moment I really enjoy performing this way."

we got hands on at Superbooth with the Ferry Island Four Seas, a module we’ve wanted to get our mitts on for quite some time… didn’t take Ben long to go full self-patched noise goblin mode.

And now we’re stocking it! After a good half hour jamming with this baby we HAD to have some for the shelves. A meg powerful 4D wavetable with stacks of modulation options (both in and out) alongside sync, spread and even CV of wavetable selection.

First batch landing soon, preorders open on both UK and EU sites.

We sat down with @metamyther while in Berlin for a proper, unhurried chat.

We had the chance to dive into our design philosophy, how we approach building instruments as a tight-knit team, and some of the technical details behind Beacon's digital vactrol modeling and Undertow's spatial interpolation engine.
