Hello; how is life? ...for me it was a chaotic 7 months since I was at @rama_tonstudio in December 2022 to record this @meltingbuttersessions Session with the help of @tonzottel , Thorsten Burgholz @thortenguss and @tegetegesen. They all did a great job and I am very happy with the result. I hope you can get something out of this noisy math-rock meditation wink wink.

In case you want to hear some more philosophical banter; I’ve been playing these songs mostly at the beginning of the last shows and each time I’ve enjoyed the repetitiveness and the undulating up and down. It was always great to see how something not quite round or a bit too complicated would eventually be received by the audience. Maybe there is still hope that we will understand the meaning of life if we stick with it long enough. Sigh.

Auch nach 10 Jahren intensiver Live Präsenz, zwei selbst veröffentlichten Alben, sowie einer Split mit KOMBYNAT ROBOTRON hat sich das Trio, bestehend aus Christiana Bonhaus (Theremin)Sidney Jaffe (Schlagzeug) und Joel Jaffe (Gitarre), seinen spontanen und wilden Charakter bewahrt. Am 08.05.2026 ab 19 Uhr (Einlass) treffen zwei außergewöhnliche Live-Acts aufeinander:

PARSE – Hybrid-Setup aus Drums, Synths und Live-Elektronik zwischen experimenteller Rhythmik und improvisierter Klangforschung.
EXCHAMPION – treibende Electronica zwischen Kraut, Minimal und Math-inspirierten Beats.

Zwei intensive Shows – Rhythmus, Energie und elektronische Symbiosen.

That’s my old friend Patty — probably the person I’ve played with the most over the years.
Patty is not only a master at sensing what a piece needs, he has also been continuously encouraging my solo work — so thanks for both! Glad to have him on board for this one.
