At etc.venues County Hall, I spent the day observing Chef Valentina Garilli manage the impossible: delivering seasonal and flavourful dishes that foster connection across two floors and 30 rooms. The afternoon kicked off with an incredible turnout. Chris Day and Maria Griffiths had the pleasure of welcoming over 150 very engaged students and their tutors from four different London universities.

"The energy in the room was electric, proving once again why the future of our industry is in excellent hands."

To give the students a real taste of what a career in hospitality looks like, Chris and Maria were joined by an expert panel of CHG industry experts. Through an engaging panel discussion and a fireside chat, our speakers shared their personal career journeys, the challenges they've overcome, and their passion for the sector.
