Starting with Blender?

Here’s what I wish someone told me on day 1 👇

1. The interface will overwhelm you - push through - It looks insane at first. Give it 2 weeks. Your brain will adapt. Everyone feels lost initially.

2. Your first renders will suck - Accept it. Even pros started with trash. Progress beats perfection.

3. Lighting = 80% of the magic - Bad lighting kills great models. Good lighting saves bad ones. Master this first.

4. YouTube is your free university - Blender Guru, Grant Abbitt, CG Geek. Thousands of hours worth more than paid courses.

5. Ctrl+S every 5 minutes. No exceptions - One crash will teach you this lesson the hard way. Don’t wait for that day.

6. Master the basics, skip the fancy stuff - Cube, sphere, cylinder. Boring? Yes. Essential? Absolutely. Dragons come later.

7. The community has your back - Stuck? Reddit, Discord, forums got you. Never struggle alone.
