How did I leave Deanna Templeton’s name off my post about “Kinship”??? Because I’m bad at social and I need new glasses!! I’m so sorry, dearest Deanna! It was nothing but a pleasure working with you, and your gallery is truly a stunner! Thanks to Ed for taking this picture of us with Emmy. @deannatempleton @emilia.mickevicius @ed.templeton

Yesterday was a special day. We opened “Kinship: Photography and Connection,” featuring the work of Farah Al Qasimi, Alessandra Sanguinetti, Paul Sepuya, Jarod Lew and Mercedes Dorame. The show is warm and human and moving. It’s all about relationships and the fantastic vibe at the opening last night was testament to the power of those connections. It was such a pleasure working with this stellar group of lovely and talented people. So much love for them all and for Emmy Mickevicius, who assisted me. ❤️ @frequentlyaskedquestion, @emilia.mickevicius @jarodlew @mercedes.dorame @pagmi @alessandra_sanguinetti @deannatempleton

A few highlights from “Both Teams Played Hard,” a permanent collection gallery I organized in celebration of the NBA Champion Golden State Warriors. The show includes work that references basketball in various ways. The title will make sense to die hard hoops fans. The rest of you can look it up! Works shown are by SFMOMA trustee ❤️ David Huffman, @davidhuffmanstudio, Paul Pfeiffer @pmp2021 and Jeff Koons, Richard Avedon, David Hammonds, and Jonas Wood, @jonaswood_archive @warriors @rasheedwallace36
