While Grackle is capable of a huge range of sounds, adding a little extra processing from filters, distortion, and compression opens up your sound design possibilities even further. Here we're showing off using Grackle for some dirty dirty drops ;)

The worlds of dynamics processing and feedback open up nearly endless possibilities, particularly with breakbeats and Grackle. Here Naomi is running chopped up breakbeats into the @robotsarered Sump Pump and @bastlinstruments Dark Matter. She then cross patched the feedback loop and both envelope followers into a pair of Grackles for maximum crunchiness and dynamic animation

We are very excited to announce that @schneidersladen is now carrying Grackle. If you're in the EU and have been holding off picking one up, now is a great opportunity to do so.

Head to Entropic Loop YouTube to check out a longer version of this Orca and Grackle video. In it, Naomi shows off some of the new sounds possible using the internal feedback and modulation on Grackle's v1.1 firmware; as well as an evolving and self influencing Orca script

Orca and Grackle, both share their names with animals and both are capable of more than meets the eye. Orca is an esoteric programming language from Hundred Rabbits that uses the letters of the alphabet as live coding operators. The flow of alphanumeric information in the grid can be harnessed to send MIDI information, and in this case, is sending it to two Grackles. Our 3-operator FM module just got a boost of features from the 1.1 firmware update. This added among other things operator feedback and internal chaotic modulation to Grackle's already complex synthesis possibilities
