I have spent years watching actors treat their career like an oppressive cage that demands sacrifice for success.

All change is scary, but there’s a difference between the fear the precedes an ending vs an up-level.
 
The fear that tells you to stop because you’re at a dead end feels flat. It closes things down. It makes the world feel smaller.
 
But the fear you’re feeling right now has something else mixed into it: Longing.

There’s a kind of aliveness underneath the anxiety.
