After studying Anna Atkins this month, I knew I needed to revisit the impossible task of making cyanotypes on glass. While they are certainly not perfect, I like the fragility that the image and subsequent landscape conveys. I will continue to work on this throughout the summer, I refuse to give up despite the multiple injuries I incurred!

Martin Parr said “there is no such thing as a perfect image...” This really stuck with me as I was planning my work for this month’s @the.artists.collab share day. I was initially disappointed when I got my film developed and realized the advance on my Holga was not working ideally. The more I looked at the two combined images the more I appreciated the dichotomy it displays.
