This is Zaza, my puppet.
As I always get inspired by and stand for creativity, I am introducing a new way to animate my account : Zaza is taking over my insta to become your favorite influencer.
Today sharing every aspect of my life does not resonate in me the way it used to and I do not feel like I want to play this social media game anymore.
By creating this animated character - in stop motion - I refuse the status quo and I choose a more creative path, to tell you stories in a different way.
Zaza loves to be in the spotlights, she loves fashion and beauty, and I a sure you will love her ! ❤️

The bistro LE PARFUM was conceived as a small Art Nouveau jewel. A world infused with @guerlain details, curves, ornament, and light.
Its design draws inspiration from the iconic Guerlain bottle, itself an Art Nouveau masterpiece created in 1912.
It´s a place where the fragrance could exist.

The sets were first drawn by @elooooeloooo , then entirely handcrafted by @alix_modelmaking ’s team, translating delicate lines into a physical world.

They were finally brought to life through light by @simongesrel and his team, shaping the atmosphere, frame by frame.

A collective effort, where every detail matters!!!!

After Madame Verbena, I turned to the roses !!! 🌹
They are the central characters of the fragrance La Petite Robe Noire @guerlain. Bringing them to life felt obvious.

These highly realistic puppets were entirely handcrafted with artist @raisabalona , following months of development hand in hand with animator @kimkongdotcom .

On set, they were brought to life frame by frame by @kimkongdotcom and @julienjdm_banana .

Lit by @simongesrel and his team.

A true collective effort to make them breath ✨

To bring the dress of the new La Petite Robe Noire film to life, I worked with an extraordinary team of artisans.

With @jeremymacedo_characterdesigner , we first translated the vision into drawings.
@stephaneviola then designed and built the puppet’s armature (an invisible but essential structure, engineered so the dress could move).
@coco_di_bongo brought it all together through couture, transforming mechanics into presence, movement, and personality.

Creating a dress that could exist and perform on its own (without a body inside) was a real challenge.
There were many meetings, tests, and refinements between Stéphane, Coralli, @kimkongdotcom to find the perfect balance between technique and grace.

@coco_di_bongo told me she spent 163 hours developing this character, through prototypes, adjustments, and feedback.

That’s the magic (and the rigor) of stop-motion 💕
