I wanted to take a moment to tell our new audience members a little bit about the opening title sequence of the talk show. I (Louis) spent two days backstage filming a group of beautiful dancers; I wanted to show the moments before the show and during, through a dancer’s eye. It was was also meant to be a gift to them, a snapshot of a moment in their lives.
The music was written custom for this project by the songwriter Ellie MacPhee. She did a beautiful job capturing a theatre’s mood— romantic, optimistic, intimate, and grand, adding a depth to this that would have been impossible to do without her.
This video and song open every episode of season one of the show; I hope you’ve enjoyed it!
