Hi there! My name is Elise. In 2021 I made the decision to return to school for a bachelor of science degree and I am happy to announce I’m finally graduating next week. So much has happened since enrolling at ASU and there were times I didn’t think I’d make it. I moved across the country with my dog, got fired from my job of almost 10 years, navigated unemployment and the unpredictable job market, moved out of my tiny apartment in the perfect location, and accepted a full time remote position at the first company that invited me for an interview. Although It’s not my dream job, it’ll do for now while I search for something that aligns more with my personality and unique way of seeing the world. I wouldn’t be here without my friends and family who were there for me along the way and I am forever grateful for their support. I don’t know what’s next during this transitionary period, but I do know that I’ll be filling my new found freedom with things that energize my soul.
