Continuing the series this weekend (3/8/26) is bassist Eliot Seppa -- who spent some time as the "First Sunday" bassist for the jam! Eliot will be joined by Elijah Balbed (sax), John Lee (guitar), and Charles Wilson (drums).

[Don’t worry pianists — We always have a full keyboard set up (keys, stand, amp, bench) for those who want to sit in.]

CRAZY times with my man Dave. This was so much fun. Ever since my days at HU, I’ve played a lot of R&B and neo soul, but I got familiar with most of those songs years after they really had their moment. This song is different… a rare neo soul gem that is also nostalgic for lil skater bois who were into alternative rock and hip hop in 2006 like yours truly. That’s at least partially responsible for the twinkle in my eye that you see here 🥹

Good times with my friend, the one and only @josannefrancis the other day. Caribbean music has had a special place in my heart for a while now. When I try to articulate the reasons why, it’s hard to put it into words, but the main one that comes to mind is RHYTHM!

Nico has a little brother! We welcomed our baby boy Luca into the world on October 21st 2025!

Needless to say, last year was a tough one to stomach for so many of us. The world is both a very ugly and very beautiful place, at the same damn time. Our boys have been our little slice of light and joy in these crazy times.

Alas, we meant to post this when Lupita was pregnant… or when he was born… or on Halloween, or Thanksgiving, or whichever one of those holidays, but… life. So, sorry to those of you who we would’ve liked to notify a couple months ago and just didn’t get around to it, and also sorry to those of you who are getting notified for the second or third or fourth time. 😂

We like to be a little bit more private with family stuff on social media these days, but we just wanted to avoid continuing to run into folks we’ve known for years and hittin’ ‘em with the “oh yeah, by the way…” 😅 So, on that note, see y’all in real life!
