Be still my Bronx-born heart! Transforming the ballroom into a NY-style diner and the lawn into Coney Island for Shane’s Bar Mitzvah was… So. Much. Fun!
15 years after planning Vicky and Danny’s wedding, I got to plan their son Shane’s Bar Mitzvah.
We went all out with custom branding for Shane’s Diner, with vinyl menus, guest checks, invitations, and a fully stocked swag bar with t-shirts, pajama pants, and more.
Outside, carnival games and rides mimicked Coney Island as kids played and parents sipped before guests were ushered in for dinner, the Hora, dancing, and a street performance.

The year I felt the most brokenhearted & lost without my mom, while also learning to live with her love & show up as *imperfectly* as possible to keep moving and keep her traditions alive❤️✨️
This year was full of hard days but also so many *Core Memory* days saying yes to adventures & projects gently & not-so-gently moving me out of my comfort zone and paralyzing grief🙌
The journey of healing, drawing closer to God's strength while getting to know the strongest version of me, continues in 2025... 🙏💪🫶 Here goes!
SNEAK PEEK✨️ An elegant & textural custom invitation suite inspired by the couple's spirit animals... 🐢🦟💕
It was wonderful to be able to dream up the details with subtle nods to the turtle & dragonfly. Dark green outer envelope for the turtle and a blind embossed folio inspired by dragonfly wings to bundle the beautiful cards inside. Creating a unique accent monogram where their initials take the form of their animals was probably my favorite part... although I'll forever be obsessed with that blind embossed pattern!!!

I never imagined that my 40th year of life would begin with such a great loss... and while I don't understand the timing, I do believe this chapter is the beginning of a redefined purpose.
My mom was a huge part of my identity, and so much of my adulthood consisted of taking care of her and being a prayer warrior for her 😔... Losing her felt like losing a big part of who I am and how I functioned in life. So, in this season of grief, I GRATEFULLY & FEARLESSLY also start a new chapter of my life 💝

I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the gift of another year than by saying "THANK YOU" to those who have dreamed big with me, prayed for me, cheered me on, lifted me up, and walked alongside me 💌💕
