Over the years I’ve been asked a lot about making prints of my work available for purchase, so for the first time I’m happy to make that possible directly from my site (link in bio).
I’m starting with this selection of 6, but will rotate in new options from time to time. Each print is signed, numbered, and comes unframed. Other sizes are available on request, and I’m also open to considering work that isn’t part of this set.
Other than raising funds for new work, this will help cover expenses related to my studio and darkroom, as well as production of my first book (titled Setsuna, coming soon!).
Shipping is available within and outside the US, but if you’re in NYC I’m also happy to drop-off prints or arrange for pickups. Any other questions please feel free to reach out.
Incredibly grateful to everyone that already bought a print, your support truly means the world to me 🌹
Thank you! 🖤

On Juneteenth, I spent the entire day in Prospect Park between the green spaces by LeFrak Center and south of the lake. Chasing the last bits of light at sunset, and almost out of film, two people on a park bench caught my eye as I walked by. Heading back I approached them, exchanging a nod and a few whispers with a young man, then quickly made two exposures. I hope she likes the picture.
1. Jardain and his girl, Prospect Park
2. At @thelayoutco, Fort Greene Park
3. Marcus in the trees, Rockefeller Park
4. At @weeksvilleheritagecenter, Crown Heights
5. Kandia and her friends, Prospect Park
A portfolio on Juneteenth gatherings in New York, for @m_magazine

Some of my most vivid memories visiting Lagos as a kid (along with the 9hr trips on Ekene Dili Chukwu buses from Enugu) was sitting in traffic for HOURS on end, especially anytime we dared go to VI to visit family.
So there I was, stuck on Third Mainland bridge...

This picture of Al and Bob was just selected for American Photography 42, and will be in the book (and gallery) launching later this year. Very cool :)
Thanks to the jury, @american_photography_winners, the teams at @wesayhi and @moncler for having me be part of the winter campaign, and my crew @fycartists for all the support 🖤

Robert Wilson was an artist, a designer, a theater director, performer, playwright, and choreographer. In 1991 he established The Watermill Center as an interdisciplinary laboratory for the arts and humanities on the East End of Long Island.
For this story I spent 3 days photographing @watermillcenter, and a fourth photographing Bob’s space in Manhattan. The sheer scale of his collection of works, both indoors and outdoors, made it really daunting to convey visually (I tried), but I was particularly taken by the remnants of his life; His Armani suits, shirts, ties and cowboy boots in the closet just as he left them next to the Avedon nude of Rudolf Nureyev, framed pictures of and with loved ones by the bedside, the crazy light-filled bathroom with a wood Agape soaking tub, the Mapplethorpe portrait of Bob from 1975 hanging in the dining room at the Watermill.
Thank you @elievillette2 @lucyconticello for the trust and support, @clement.ghys for his help on the ground, and writing and research on this story, and finally @watermillcenter for the warm welcome and uncommon generosity.

‘Robert Wilson’s Theatre of Objects’, the ones he designed, the thousands upon thousands he collected, the remarkable spaces he made, worked, lived, and died in.

Untitled (Maai Mahiu I), 2014
Still one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stood, though I’m not sure I knew it then…
For the first time, I’m really excited to make this and a few other pictures available as prints for sale. I’ll be sharing more about that very soon, but the page is live on my site now, link in bio 🖤
