After college, I struggled to find a job and turned to sewing out of necessity. As a first-generation college graduate, I carried a lot of shame and discouragement, feeling like all those years of school had led nowhere. Selling the pieces I made while teaching myself to sew became my only source of income, and slowly my love for fashion grew into my full-time career. I followed every tiny breadcrumb the universe placed in front of me, and through luck and hard work I’ve been able to pave a path I never could’ve planned.

This journey has been incredibly rewarding, but also lonely at times, which is why I’m especially grateful for everyone who has supported me online — whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just recently found my work. Knowing I can inspire people to follow their creative dreams or share even the smallest sewing tips to help y’all make a cute outfit keeps me motivated.
