Woweee it’s May in just a few days! 5 weekends this month and 5 spectacular sessions lined up!

We’ll be dancing round the fire in the woods for Beltane this Sunday with @djmarcjb , a live ecstatic debut with multi instrumentalist @nadav_tabak next Friday. Then we have the return of @osarasound with another wild beach dance and live music around the fire with @eliankidd_music, a new sunset session towards the end of the month with @sunmothmusic and finishing up with another sober rave in collaboration with @heiko_geritzmann !!

A busy month! June will be a little quieter in Brighton as we head to Glastonbury for 5 days of dancing in the sun at @avalondanceodyssey ! See ya there…?

Introducing NATHAN GODOLPHIN 🔥

Something about the power of electronic music to inspire and uplift has always held out a promise. And yet for Nathan there is this push-pull, where much of the club scene can feel messy, disconnected, escapist- and unable to deliver on a genuinely healing level.
Perhaps a dissatisfaction led to the carving out of alternative spaces for the music and the dance. Through journeys of spirituality, meaning, yoga and dance, Nathan now comfortably traverses the worlds of conscious dance and the music-focused club- with an appreciation of the full spectrum of possibility available to us.
Offering two conscious dances each month in Brighton (see conscioustechno.com), he facilitates the freedom of going deeper in presence and movement. And then the raw edge of the underground club scene and DJing- where you can blast out the techno to those who are there for it. Or get deep into a particular sub-genre of house, and find the journey there.
Beyond any scene or fixed genre, Nathan has always followed and trusted himself, his own journey, love of the music- and the greater life at play that holds us. And that’s what guides, rather than any trend or fashion. He trusts there’s a time and a place for all of it- with dancing being an experience and expression of our freedom. Heiko is an internationally experienced DJ, producer, and facilitator known for creating transformative electronic dance projects. His sets dwell on the fringes of club music, summoning hypnotic dance spaces and deeply evocative moods from driving basslines, organic tribal beats and electronic sounds. Heiko blends diverse genres— ambient, deep house, Detroit techno, tribal, amapiano, jazz elements, and electronica. Heiko integrates his expertise as a certified Yoga/Meditation Teacher and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner®, merging the emotional depth and high energy of his sets with meditative states. He has played at festivals, venues such as Ministry of Sound and at events like Berlin-Brighton. Not all ecstatic dances are like this - yet this is our preference & our style! Not a sober rave (although you’ll get to party hard for sure) but a journey of feels, tempos, genres and energy.

In fact, our whole festival experience is based on the idea of waves of energy levels and you’ll find that in our programming…between dances we have concerts, sound baths, sharing circles, song circles and long lunch breaks to hang out and chat. The sauna is open early til late and cosy firelit tipi or large lounge area for breakout spaces anytime!
