Commuters near Bures were brought to a standstill after a herd of cows wandered onto Cuckoo Hill and blocked the road through the countryside.
Thankfully, the cows were safely guided back into their field soon after police arrived 👏

🚒 BREAKING: Firefighters remain at the scene after a huge blaze tore through Parkway Middle School in Haverhill overnight.
Part of the derelict building collapsed during the fire, with crews battling the flames through the night.
Witnesses reported seeing thick black smoke from miles away, while a former pupil called it “a sad day for Haverhill”.

Two historic homes were damaged after a major fire broke out in Crown Street, Bury St Edmunds yesterday 🚒
Station manager Adam Eagle has thanked crews for their response after 11 fire engines were called to the scene, where the blaze spread between two properties.
🐶 Firefighters also rescued a dog from one of the homes, with no casualties reported.

A historic Suffolk barn has been given a new lease of life 🌾✨
A major thatching project at Blackthorpe Barn on the Rougham Estate has been completed, restoring the building to its former glory using traditional methods and materials.
A team of 12 thatchers spent weeks on the roof using straw and hazel sourced from the estate, bringing craftsmanship and history together once again 👏
