Sooooo so sorry to post poorly cropped screenshots to the grid. It’s a horrible habit of the profession that should definitely change. Unfortunately, I have no graphic design skills or energy to do anything but this, and also no choice but to express my great pride in Albert and Pete and this movie! I am so moved and filled with hope. OBEX is playing NOW in NY, LA, and SF. It expands across the country in the coming weeks. I look at this photo and I see someone who is terrified that her skirt is too sheer. When deciding what to wear, Lily assured me that no, the skirt isn’t Too Sheer for the spirit awards. And she took these photos to prove it. She said that, at worst, people would be able to tell I have two legs…. I took the chance. I paid the mental price. And you can literally see the fear of “can everyone see my underwear right now in a way I don’t want them to” in my eyes. I don’t always look that way! Sheer might be in this awards season but not for me, and frankly…hot take… not for producers! That’s not how it works! But obviously no this specific skirt actually wasn’t too sheer.
