My only 2 goals for 2026 were to build my confidence using my sketchbook again, and to make a conscious effort to do things for folks that makes their day a little brighter (hopefully building some of the regular kind of confidence too). Improvements are slow, sometimes progress goes backwards, or it all feels a bit silly, but that is ok, so I'm posting it anyway !!!!

Made a little war banner illustration and put @theblackangels on there since I've been listening to em lots

I avoid mirrors like the plague so self portraits feel like some sort of weird exposure therapy. I didn't want to draw someone else in case I messed it up as this was another trial of some different brushes, this time shaders or charcoals. I couldn't draw the little light reflections in my glasses so did stars instead and it all took over from there ⭐️🌟💫🌠
