More days spent canoe camping on the lake please 🏕️ 🛶 💦 ⛰️

TBH, I was never really a water kid, despite growing up in the Okanagan. I don’t love swimming or getting wet and canoes kind of freak me out 😅 BUT then we needed a way to adventure a little further out when Aster hit that age when we couldn’t carry her long distances anymore but her little legs couldn’t either. Soooo we bought a $300 canoe on the local buy and sell and off we went 🛶

It really opened up some different camping spots for us in that stage of life and now we love to bring the green girl along on trips so we can fish and down to our local lake to paddle around. I’m looking forward to days spent lakeside with the family this summer, exploring and splashing and making mems 🥰

I pre make a lot of food before we go so that we can just spend more exploring and being together when we are out.

Things would have looked a bit different on this trip but silly me forgot the eggs 😂 so that kind of messed up breakfasts but I brought enough for two mornings of protein oatmeal so that was okay!
