This is our first Met Gala and to create a Wetlook dress meant so much.
The idea of the Wetlook is to create a dress that looks like you just stepped out of the water, itβs doesnβt only appear wet but it moves it clings to the body. It is a celebration of the Watery self, the fact that we come from water. We often have to hide a womanβswatery emotions and our nature. It is inspired by Ancient Greek drapery and my cultures lineage.
