Some slacktivism, mostly tactivism.

They say Belgians have a brick in their stomachs. But homes are made of more than bricks. What individual need is overlooked in your own home? What quality do you miss, or wish to strengthen? Come and order your personalised corzetti - Ligurian stamped pasta - and manifest your deepest domestic desire.
Today from 13:00 to 15:00 in Mixlab at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. Part of Tasting Tendrils, curated by Mathias MU.
‘Home Cooking’ is part of Tasting Tendrils, a group exhibition bringing together projects developed through residencies at Mixlab, coordinated by Mathias Mu.
On Friday, May 15, between 13:00 and 15:00, I will open a temporary pasta shop at Mixlab in the Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. Come and manifest the most pressing wish for your home – stamped into a giant corzetti, made for you to eat.
The pasta is made with a two-part wooden stamp that functions like a small press. One side features a brickwork pattern – a nod to the Belgian expression “to be born with a brick in the stomach”, that deeply rooted longing for a place of one’s own. The other side you select from a wish list: a menu of things you might lack in your home, or qualities you want to see strengthened.
The act of eating becomes the act of wishing – a moment in which a domestic wish, stamped in dough, is briefly made real.
Thanks to @chiararavano for the expertise and assistance.

Please, come join ‘Reference Roulette’ on April 16 from 19:30 at Tique (Korte Vlierstraat 5, 2000 Antwerpen).
For this event, I will shuffle through the books behind my card game ‘Wiggle Room’.

‘Curiosity Didn’t Kill the City’, a plea for the collective organisation of individual spatial needs, in ‘Participation for Real’, edited by Hülya Ertas and published by VAi, March 2026.

Come join ‘Reference Roulette’ on April 16 from 19:30 at Tique. For this event, Nik Naudts shuffles through the books behind his card game ‘Wiggle Room’.
Wiggle Room invites you to explore the boundaries of your living environment — physically, mentally, and emotionally. The game consists of 13 themed suites, 54 cards in total, including two jokers. Each card contains a simple instruction that invites you to let go of habits, sharpen your senses, and make room for encounters.
Using the brick-textured backs of the cards, you can build a wall — and then dismantle it again, brick by brick. Or play a regular card game: quartets, memory… or — why not? — construct your own house of cards.

@rn_smns got in touch with nature while carrying out one of the ‘Wiggle Room’ instructions on the night of the game’s launch at @cafe.keulen.
The evening was safely broadcast by @radiocentraal_antwerpen and soundly hosted by @dennistyfus.
‘Wiggle Room’ is the first @track_report publication of the year — now available at @tique.space.
