I’m lucky to work with some truly fantastic private students. 🥁 this is "M" and he's in middle school.
This year, everyone took on snare drum duets as a way to learn what it really means to play with other musicians. In private lessons, it’s easy to focus on playing solo—but making music with someone else is a whole different skill. It takes listening, awareness, timing, and teamwork.
So proud of the growth I’ve seen as they’ve learned not just to play their part, but to play together.
