This MMT-8 is perfect by all means now. New OLED is installed and buttons fixed! I hated those rubber buttons design. The front panel board is poorly made without any plating on contacts. And so often needs cleaning. After trying numerous micro switches I found the model that fits perfectly onto the original contact spots and is slim enough. I've been thinking about making my own front panel, but this solution works better. All you need to have is soldering skills :)

This is my Digidesign Sound Accelerator card running SoftSynth under System7. SoftSynth doesn't make sound in real time. You first need to render it if you wish, dump into one of supported samples. Was revolutionary at its time and still is. It takes an extra effort to run it, you need to dedicate a system for it. #digidesign
