Here's reflecting on the exhilarating journey of stepping onto the @tedx_official stage which was truly transformative in every which way. The nerves dissipated, replaced by the palpable support and enthusiasm from the audience as I stood on that iconic red dot.

Over the past eight weeks, the journey has been a profound lesson of unlearning and relearning the intricacies of scriptwriting, refining the North Star statement, and mastering strategic pauses and measured theatricals.

What initially seemed like a daunting challenge evolved into a refined art form. I am truly grateful for the growth and the opportunity to share insights that matter.

As we approach the inaugural anniversary of our monumental community art project, it is with a profound sense of admiration and gratitude that we reflect upon this breathtaking creation. Conceived and executed with an unwavering passion by a diverse team of artists ranging from seasoned experts to enthusiastic novices, the project stands as a testament to the boundless potential that emerges when talent converges with devotion.

This awe-inspiring endeavor unfolded over the course of 37 dedicated volunteers investing 6 weeks and over 500 man-hours. The collaborative effort was fortified by a robust support network meticulously constructed by the seniors, devotees, and the often unsung heroes among the HTCC temple staff.

At the heart of this project lies not just a physical structure but a manifestation of plural spirituality and selflessness.Now, a year later, amidst the myriad events that have transpired, we take this moment to express our formal appreciation and gratitude to the community that breathed life into this colossal endeavor. Below, we acknowledge the invaluable contributions of the artists who brought Govardhan Giri to majestic fruition.

An incredible multicultural showcase curated by Margie, @yefinearts at @yuan.ru.art.center_bellevue brought together artists, stories, and communities in the most beautiful way.

Our youth artists had the opportunity to share their journeys alongside distinguished artists, learn from mentors and peers, and experience firsthand that "creativity has no boundaries".

The energy and participation at our free public workshops were great, and our collaboration with leather artist Desiree from Tandy Leather showcased the power of artistic collaboration across mediums.

Most importantly, our youth artists walked away feeling seen, heard, and empowered. ❤️

Our young artists from Deepti Designs showcased their paintings while also sharing hands-on experiences from traditional Indian culture with an incredibly diverse youth crowd.

From intricate henna art and Kolam drawings to the fun of learning how to make chakli, our booth stayed buzzing all day long, with a long line of eager participants waiting to experience these activities!

Watching young minds connect across cultures through simple creative experiences was heartwarming. ❤️ Thank you @icffseattle International Children’s Friendship Festival for hosting this wonderful event every year and creating a space where cultures, friendships, and learning come together so beautifully.
