so we had a cookbook club picnic on Sunday and it didn’t rain and it was v cute

It was fun to bring the event outdoors for a Danish summer evening

We had books from all over, one even dating back to 1833 (see photo dump #1), and it was v lovely to see people’s connections to certain cookbooks through family memories or cookbooks people continually reach for at home. I really appreciate everyone making the effort to bring their own crockery and glassware so we could keep the waste from a large picnic relatively small!

I’ve got some ideas in the pipeline for Cph Cookbook Club and seeing what we can do with the concept. We’ve got our 2nd birthday coming up in August so we’ll try and make a special event for it!
